Revolution Church

Revolution Church would not be able to function if it were not for our selfless volunteers. We believe strongly in volunteerism, not only because it benefits the body of Christ, but also because it takes the volunteers relationship with God to a whole new level. When you serve by giving your time, talents, and efforts to those around you, you are following in the footsteps of Jesus Christ, the ultimate servant.

YOU CAN SERVE IN: 

Greeting
Our greeting team is invaluable. Our greeters are the first thing people see when they come to Revolution Church, and the last thing people see when they leave each week. They are there to be a smiling face and a warm heart for people to be welcomed by. They welcome our guests at Revolution, as well as help point them in the right direction. Their job is to make everyone who enters our doors feel welcome and comfortable.

Connections
Plugging people in is a huge aspect of Revolution Church.  Scripture tells us that serving is a way to bring glory to God and show others Jesus’ love through your actions.  The members of this team assist the Connections Coordinator, and help to plug visitors into Revolution Church.  If you have a passion to bring people in to community and watch them grow in their faith, this would be the team for you!

Revolution Kidz
We want Revolution Kidz to be an awesome experience full of learning.  This team designs fun and creative games, small groups and ideas for the children that come to us each Sunday. We want them to leave knowing that they are valued by not only us but by God. This means that the volunteers for Revolution Kidz need to take a genuine interest in children and their lives! If you love kids and desire to teach them about Jesus, you might consider being apart of our Revolution Kidz team.

Revolution Kidz Set up/Tear Down Team
This team is dedicated to making Revolution Kidz an awesome experience for each child that comes to us on Sunday mornings. They are responsible for moving around and setting up all of the materials needed for Revolution Kidz, as well as tearing it down and making sure that we leave the entire upstairs better than we found it so that the YMCA can resume their normal schedule throughout the week!

Worship Setup/Tear Down Team
This team ensures that everything needed for worship each Sunday is taken care of. They make the entire production happen. They do all of the heavy lifting and labor and are ALWAYS in need of more helping hands. The team is made up of strong men and women who have a passion for doing the “behind the scenes” work.

Student Life
To volunteer with Student Life means to dig deeper into the lives of the teens in our community. If you have a calling to be a part of young student’s lives, to be an influence in their lives, a shoulder for them to lean on, and a mentor for them to confide in, you might consider being apart of Student Life. This could include hosting Student Life events, attending and chaperoning trips with them, and really just sharing life with them!

Parking/Safety
Everyone knows how stressful visiting a new church, in a new area can be, and that is why this team is so valuable.  The parking/safety team has made it their goal to make all new and existing guests feel comfortable parking, leaving their car, and know where to go, all with a huge smile on their faces.  Not only does this team navigate you right into your parking spot, but they also remain outside to monitor any suspicious activity.  These folks are the first to say “Good Morning” to you, and make a huge impact in our church.
